Jackie and Con’s wedding at Ingon Manor

We spent a lovely few days just outside Stratford preparing for Jackie and Con’s wedding.

Ingon Manor has an impressive brick built barn that was used for the ceremony and reception. Following the ceremony and whilst the bride and groom along with their guests had photos in the grounds and were taking in the stunning views over the Warwickshire countryside and Ingon’s golf course, the barn was prepared for the wedding breakfast and reception.

Jackie and Con chose to have some large statement designs for their wedding, which worked fantastically well in the barn as it is such an imposing space. This is something to consider when planning your wedding flowers, as large statement designs that create a real wow factor are something that will be remembered, rather than lots of small designs that can sometimes get lost and easily forgotten in large spaces. The bespoke service offered by March Hare Floral Design ensures that all aspects of your styling are considered from what size of design is most appropriate for your venue, to colour coordinating vases, candles and props. For Jackie there was lace detailing on her dress which she had incorporated into her wedding invitations and which I handmade lace votives for all the table designs to continue this classically elegant theme.

The colour palate combined pale pinks, ivory and oyster. The main urn design had a stunning selection of hydrangeas and delphiniums. Classic rose urn designs were placed near to the entrance of the barn to ensure that guests were welcomed by a fabulous display and also fragrance from the scented roses.

It always makes the life of a floral designer easier when the venue staff are friendly and helpful and at Ingon Manor, Vikki and her team were fantastic. They made our time there really enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble.
