We have the most beautiful Kirtlington Park wedding flowers on our blog today. This wedding was on a gorgeous warm day back in September at the wonderful Kirtlington Park in Oxfordshire.
The colour palette of white and pale blue and use of olive represented the groom's Greek heritage and the elegance of the wedding flowers were perfect in this unique Oxfordshire country house wedding venue.
BRIDAL BOUQUET
Scented garden roses with their abundance of petals alongside delicate spray roses, delphinium, freesia with other wonderful seasonal flowers looked wonderful in the bride's bouquet. The scent from the roses and freesia was amazing.
CEREMONY FLOWERS
The saloon at Kirtlington Park is a fabulous room with large windows overlooking the wonderful Oxfordshire countryside. The ceremony flowers at Kirtlington Park were very much in keeping with the elegance of the venue, with a deconstructed archway framing the large glass doorway out onto the terrace and simple, yet elegant posies of gypsophilia with long ivory trailing ribbon adorning the aisle.
RECEPTION FLOWERS
The Great Hall is one of the many fabulous state rooms at Kirtlington Park and for a wedding reception it is wonderful. There were a combination of tall and low flower arrangements for the reception, which creates more impact and interest. Our brass candelabra were adorned with beautiful blooms and complemented with low floral arrangements in brass compote bowls on the other tables. The top table had a unique design with a combination of mirrored plates reflecting the gold pots of flowers, glass bud vases, gold votives and vintage brass candlesticks. The reflection of gold was absolutely amazing and we loved styling and designing these wedding reception flowers.
CAKE FLOWERS
The stunning cake was created by the Rosehip Bakery We designed cake flowers to nestle beautifully on the top tier and then olive foliage dressed around the base of the cake.
It was an absolute pleasure to design wedding flowers for V&A at Kirtlington Park and we can't wait to be back there next year.
